2 Years... and Making History...

Critical Beauty is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts and is owned by Rafael Robert Delfin. During the first year (2006), Delfin handpicked college student and musician Jacob Hill, left, as Mister USA. Jacob was supposed to compete in the Mister International 2006 pageant in Singapore in October, but he had to withdraw due to an unfortunate car accident earlier in July. Jacob was replaced by top-notched model Chaka Sedgwick, right, whom Delfin had selected during a casting in a modeling agency. Chaka represented the U.S. in the Mister International 2006 pageant where he placed fourth runner-up. By July 2007, Jacob has completely recovered from his accident and he was then reappointed by Delfin as the U.S. representative in the Mister International 2007 pageant which will be held in Kuching, Malaysia in December.

      A national pageant is currently being planned for next summer to select Mister USA 2008. Local, state and regional directors are currently being identified.

The Contestants

MISTER USA contestants must be at least 18 years old and under 30 (by June 1 in the year they participate in the national pageant). They must also possess these qualities: U.S. citizens, natural-born males, single and no children, at least 5'11", no criminal record, of good moral character, handsome face and well-toned body, physically fit and in good health, good communication skills in English, and not bound by any agreement that would prevent them from signing and fulfilling the contestant contract.

An Unbelievable Year Ahead

The Titleholder then embarks on a year unlike anything else, receiving cash, exciting prizes and services, as well as:

• Part of each Titleholder's prize package is an employment contract with Critical Beauty.
  

• The Titleholder becomes a representative of the company for one year, traveling the country, meeting notable and accomplished people, participating in official charity and social events, appearing on television, having interviews with the press, speaking on a variety of topics, and getting the education, experiences and values to fulfill his career goals.
  

• The Titleholder is represented by Critical Beauty during his term.
